Unlocking the Toolkit was back on April 24, and better than ever, as more than 90 girls from Grades 5 & 6 descended on WCA’s Construction Education Centre to try their hands at a variety of trades. Hosted by MWC, WCA and Women and Gender Equity Manitoba (WAGE-MB), the one-day event gave students the opportunity to explore careers in construction trades and meet women working in the industry.
