The workshop was so inspiring, it opened up participants’ eyes to opportunities to uplevel their current positions. People were still talking about it three months later. They came out of the session with a whole new perspective of where they could take their careers.  Stephanie Wallace, Director Membership Liaison and Development, Ottawa Construction Association

I walked into my Construction Manager’s office and asked for a promotion, and explained why I felt that I deserved it. I was just told last week that it was approved.  Jaclyn Tomlinson, PCL Construction

The Atlantic District of Bird Construction sent three team members to the Gold Seal course hosted by the Construction Association of Nova Scotia. They came back saying it was one of the best Zoom workshops they’ve ever been to.  Neal lade, Vice President and District Manager, Bird Construction

Why companies should invest in female talent:

Investing in your female construction professionals:

– Addresses the war for talent by focusing on employee retention and engagement. Instead of looking externally for talent, prepare your existing staff to step into leadership.

– Build strong networks by providing your staff with the opportunity to make connections and represent your company.

– Makes a statement that your organization is taking action to support female leadership in the construction industry.
