Ever wondered about the history behind Winnipeg’s China Town or what events from the past made our Exchange District so unique? Join MWC and Michael Soncina, Winnipeg’s tour guide extraordinaire, for a history lesson on our city’s Chicago-style architecture, the original Grain Exchange, and the influence of Chinese culture on our city.
The tour will kick off with an immersion into Chinese culture & cuisine, and end with some new-fashioned ale and spirits at one of Winnipeg’s railway era hotels.
Meet & Check-in for your tour at Kum Koon Garden Restaurant at 257 King Street for your selected tour start-time, each ticket includes appetizers & 1 drink. More event details will be emailed to registered attendees prior to the event.
